The Holy Spirit is a promise from Jesus to us John 14:18 : "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you". Jesus was speaking here when he was to go back to the Father. John 14:26 : "But the Comforter , which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you". In other words, the Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ himself coming down to the soul of the believers. The Holy Spirit is not an "it." He is not a divine influence. He is not a fleecy white cloud. He is not a ghost or a concept. He is a person possessing a will, intellect and emotions.
